Support mesh for hydraulic and liquid filters
Hydraulic and liquid elements run in oil or water at high differential pressure. The pleat pack is supported on both faces, and a center tube stops the element collapsing inward.
Recommended support layers
On the pleats
Epoxy coated screen laminated on one or both faces of the media; the coating protects the wire in oil-wetted service. Expanded metal where a joint-free layer is preferred.
Center tube
Welded mesh in galvanized or stainless 304/316, rolled and seamed to your core diameter.
